Aston Martin has lived on the periphery of the SUV market for a long time, but with the DBX 707, the carmaker has moved into the market with zeal and power.

Its 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V-8 is a mild hybrid, and it gets 697 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. Aston Martin also made some improvements under the hood, and the result is that the DBX is now even quicker than before. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds, and it tops out at about 193 mph.
Its top speed will be limited, however, if you need to equip it with

The Tesla Model X Plaid definitely has a faster acceleration than the new DBX, but the DBX dominates the Model X in terms of top speed. The Model X Plaid only tops out at 163 mph.
This new DBX is also more powerful than many competitors in terms of horsepower. It beats the Urus by 56 hp, and it's a 155 hp upgrade from the current DBX that's available.
A couple of other SUVs have more horsepower, though. According to
, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk special edition comes with up to 707 hp. But, while they are SUVs, they aren't luxury SUVs like the DBX is.
