The Rustic Tri-View Drive-in Theatre opened in 1951 as a single-screen drive-in. Two more screens were added in 1988 after a change in ownership, and the new owner also introduced radio broadcast for the movie audio. It is the last remaining operational drive-in theater in the state of Rhode Island.

The Rustic Tri-View plays new releases during their showtimes. There are double features on every screen for your viewing pleasure.
If you or someone you love has a birthday coming up, try having a party at the drive-in! The Rustic Tri-View arranges parties with newly-released films and classic concessions.
This drive-in is also available for hosting group showings. They can be scheduled during regular viewing times, or you can book an exclusive private screening ahead of time and have the auditorium all to yourselves.

How to hear the movie

Tune in to your movie’s audio using your vehicle’s FM radio. If you don’t want to worry about the car’s battery or the car does not have an FM transmitter, be sure to bring a portable speaker powerful enough that all of your passengers can hear.

Rhode Island’s drive-in prides itself in owning an old-fashioned theatre, complete with freshly popped popcorn. Swing by their traditional concession stand and the soft-serve ice cream shop for delicious treats!
The Rustic Tri-View’s box office and concession stand accept all major credit cards except for Discover. ATMs are also available for customer convenience.
Pro tip: Premiere tickets are available for purchase at the box office in books of 50. They are perfect for workplace incentives, holiday rewards, or fundraisers.

No, your car does not need to be running in the drive-in theater. Make sure you leave the car on for a few minutes after you park so the battery has enough power for the entire movie.
Most drive-ins will stay open when it is raining, but if the weather is severe it may close. Call the box office or check the theater website if available before driving there to make sure it is open.
