Will my home insurance be renewed through escrow, even though my home is going through foreclosure?

"My home is going into foreclosure soon. My homeowners insurance, which is escrowed, is due to be renewed in less than two weeks. Will my insurance provider renew the policy?

“I am sorry to hear that you are going through foreclosure. Even though you may lose your home in the near future, it is still technically yours and you need to continue to maintain your home insurance.
In addition, sometimes foreclosures fall through or homeowners find a way to stop the proceedings, so insurance is still required to protect the home. Your lender will still pay the insurance through escrow and then probably make the amount paid a part of your past-due balance.”
