Will a comprehensive claim for hail damage raise my car insurance rate?

“Making a
comprehensive insurance
claim can raise your rates, even if you aren’t at fault for the damage. However, each insurance company is different. In some cases, carriers will only raise your premium after you make multiple comprehensive claims. Before you file a claim, get a repair estimate from a body shop. If the damage is relatively inexpensive to fix, it may be cheaper in the long run to pay for the repairs out of pocket instead of filing a claim.”
