Why won’t my 2007 Hyundai Entourage’s sliding door open?
My Hyundai Entourage’s sliding door is supposed to open when you press a button, but it’s not working! It’s from 2007 so it’s pretty old, but it’s been working great until recently. What could be the issue?

What a bummer that it stopped working after so many years! There are a variety of reasons that your 2007
Hyundai Entourage
’s sliding door is malfunctioning. If your door opens manually but not when you press the switch, there could be an issue with the motor, which will most likely need to be replaced.
However, if it’s completely stuck, you could be experiencing a door jam. You’ll need to use tools to remove the door and then identify and remove the jam. Lubricating the door with WD-40 before replacing it could help as well.
Another possible culprit is your door’s latch. If it’s just sticking, it could be fixed with WD-40, but if it’s broken, it might require replacement.
No matter what the issue is, it may be faster and easier to take your Hyundai to a mechanic or dealership. This will let you avoid the hassle of doing your own troubleshooting, and you’ll probably be able to get it fixed while you’re there!
