Cummins is nothing to be concerned about.The most common reasons for an engine ticking noise include the following:
- Low oil pressure
- Issues with the ignition system
- An exhaust leak
In some cases, the noise may go away on its own.
However, it’s difficult to determine the cause or severity of the issue without bringing your vehicle to a certified Dodge dealer or technician to diagnose the sound. If the noise continues, bring your truck in for an assessment.
