Why is it so difficult to file a claim with an insurance company?

“Filing a claim with your
car insurance
company is a very time consuming process. While it may seem like they are being difficult, it is most likely out of their control.If you were in an accident, an adjuster will need to review the details. Sometimes it can be difficult to get in touch with the other driver, which slows down the process.
If you need to repair damages on your vehicle, your insurance company will also have to negotiate with the repair shop to coordinate payment and repairs.
All of this takes time. While it may seem like they’re being difficult, they may just be waiting for a response from someone else.
If you have questions about the process, you should contact your insurance company directly. They’ll be able to explain what’s happening and why there may be a delay.”
