I’m flying into Paris next month for business. I need to rent a car but I’m not familiar with international driving requirements. Which countries in Europe require you to have an international driving permit?

The European countries that require an international driving permit (IDP) in conjunction with a valid U.S. driver’s license include:

Bosnia-Herzegovina
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Italy
Poland
Slovenia
Spain
