2017 Hyundai Accent models outfitted with cruise control will have a cruise control button mounted on the vehicle’s steering wheel.
To use your Hyundai Accent’s cruise control option follow these steps:
Press the “Cruise” button on the right-hand side of your steering wheel. When cruise control is turned on, the “Cruise” indicator will light up on your instrument panel.
Accelerate to the speed at which you wish to cruise, and toggle the “Set” selector. NOTE: you must be traveling 25 MPH or faster to use the cruise control feature.
Increase your cruising speed by toggling the “RES+” button up, or decrease your cruising speed by toggling the “SET-” button down.
To cancel cruise control simply tap your brake pedal, press the “Cancel” button, or press the “Cruise” button.
The Hyundai Accent was made available in three trim levels—the Value Edition, SE, and Sport. Both the SE and the Sport models had available cruise control, but the Value Edition did not.
