Where is the charge port on most electric cars?

I’ve been thinking about renting an electric car while mine is in the shop, but I’m a little unfamiliar with how they work. Where is the charge port on most electric cars?

Sorry about your car being in the shop, but hopefully you’ll enjoy your experience renting an
electric car
.
The location of a charging point can vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle, but here are a few places to check.
  • The front left side. This is where all of Ford’s PHEV and BEV charging ports are located.
  • The rear right side. This is where you’ll find a charging port on the BMW i3.
  • Front and center. Nissan and Audi cars can be seen with this feature.
  • Rear left. You’ll find Tesla charge ports here.
  • Rear right. All Mercedes PHEVs have charging points on the right corner of the rear bumper.
If you’re new to electric cars, keep in mind that filling up to 80% of your battery’s capacity can still take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes on average with a DC fast charger, or a few hours on a Level 2 charger. While you’re waiting, check out the
