Where is the charge port on most electric cars?
I’ve been thinking about renting an electric car while mine is in the shop, but I’m a little unfamiliar with how they work. Where is the charge port on most electric cars?

. The location of a charging point can vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle, but here are a few places to check.
- The front left side. This is where all of Ford’s PHEV and BEV charging ports are located.
- The rear right side. This is where you’ll find a charging port on the BMW i3.
- Front and center. Nissan and Audi cars can be seen with this feature.
- Rear left. You’ll find Tesla charge ports here.
- Rear right. All Mercedes PHEVs have charging points on the right corner of the rear bumper.
If you’re new to electric cars, keep in mind that filling up to 80% of your battery’s capacity can still take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes on average with a DC fast charger, or a few hours on a Level 2 charger. While you’re waiting, check out the
