Where is the '32 Ford from American Graffiti?

American Graffiti was one of my dad’s favorite movies growing up, and he insisted that I watch it with him. Surprise! I loved it. But it did leave me with one burning question. What happened to Milner’s ‘32 Ford from the movie?

While it’s never been confirmed, many people say that the ‘32 Ford from American Graffiti is still in
Petaluma, California
. This was the original filming location of the iconic 1973 movie, and the car was loaned from Clay and May Daily—two Petaluma residents—for the film.
The Dailys have since passed away, but the car was allegedly handed down to the family. Due to the number of replicas that have emerged in the past 50 years, no one’s quite sure where the car is today, even with claims that it’s still in Petaluma. No car has since been authenticated as the original, so it remains somewhat of a mystery.
If you want to buy a replica for your father or just conduct your own investigation in California, you may need some extra cheddar in your bank account. One great place to find savings is by shopping for better-priced
