. The Mazda5 minivan was only exported to the United States from 2005 to 2015, and the entire model was discontinued even in Japan by 2016. However, if you’re in the market for a new car, another family-friendly option from Mazda is the
CX-5
. It’s an all-wheel drive compact crossover SUV and is modestly priced for what it offers. Here are some of the specs for the 2022 model:- 2.5-Liter 4-cylinder engine
- 187 horsepower
- Automatic transmission
- 26 combined mpg
- 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds
- 5-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
It’s worth pointing out that, as far as we know, the CX-5 will continue at least through 2023, but it may soon be phased out as Mazda introduces the new CX-50 crossover SUV in 2023.
