What year was the first Buick Rendezvous CX?

I’ve heard the Buick Rendezvous was a great SUV, but I don’t know much about it. When was the first model year for the Buick Rendezvous CX?

What a great car! The year the first
Buick Rendezvous CX
debuted was 2002.
The Rendezvous was GM’s first model in the crossover SUV segment. The CX was the base offering, while the CXL was a higher-tier trim level.
The Buick Rendezvous CX was advertised as a combination of the best aspects of a minivan, luxury automobile, and SUV. Instead of four-wheel drive, the Rendezvous had a fully automatic all-wheel-drive system with specific snow and inclement weather applications. It also was equipped with a standard fully independent rear suspension system.
