I just bought a Subaru WRX and want to try it out on the drag strip, but I’m a little concerned about what that means for my warranty. What voids a Subaru WRX warranty?

Here’s what voids a Subaru WRX warranty:
- Tampering with or removing the car’s odometer
- Having the car declared a total loss after a wreck
- Sustaining damage in a natural disaster like a flood or earthquake
So, drag racing itself won’t void your warranty, but keep in mind that because Subaru’s factory coverage only pays for manufacturer defects, you’ll be on the hook for any car repairs if you damage the car in a race.
