What should I do if I was involved in a wreck in Utah and the other driver doesn't have insurance?

"It was not my fault and I have the other driver's details. When I called their insurance company, they told me the person's insurance has expired. What are my options?"

“Do you have
collision car insurance
? If so, this would cover the cost of your repairs (minus your deductible).
Uninsured motorist coverage
could also work.
Since you can’t use the other driver’s liability insurance, the only remaining option is to pay for the cost of repairs yourself or sue the other driver for the damages.”
