Great question! A 2004 Pontiac Vibe needs 5W-30 synthetic motor oil.
Note that the oil capacity on a
Pontiac Vibe
is just under four quarts, so make sure you purchase enough oil to top up your reservoir completely. It probably isn’t completely empty but better safe than sorry!If you’re on a road trip, you should be able to purchase this oil at any gas station or auto supply shop. You may want to pick up a plastic funnel, too.
Remember—before you add the oil, let the engine cool down completely. Then, pop the hood and fill ‘er up!
