What is the Pontiac Firebird’s top speed?
I don’t think of Pontiac as a fast car brand, but someone told me that I should try the Firebird if I want a fast car. Is the Pontiac Firebird actually a fast car?

The Pontiac Firebird has a theoretical top speed of 161 mph. However, the Firebird is equipped with a speed limiter, so the vehicle will max out between 113 and 118 mph.
Pontiac does have some pretty fast cars, though. The Pontiac Trans-Am, for example, has a top speed of 252 mph. The Trans-Am is sometimes called a Firebird, since it’s essentially the same car with some upgrades to improve performance.
