What is the oil type for a 2015 Nissan Rogue?

I’m driving across state lines and I noticed that my car has been leaking a small amount of oil. I’m at a rest stop and I want to purchase a container of oil to hold me over until I locate a nearby mechanic. I’m wondering what type of oil I need.

Good call taking extra precautions with your car! The oil type for a 2015
Nissan Rogue
is SAW 0W-20.
While SAE 0-W-20 is standard for this model year of the Rogue, you could also use SAE 5W-30. You should be putting synthetic oil in your
Nissan
because it’s known to prolong the life of your engine and keep your vehicle running smoothly.
When you use synthetic oil, you’ll only have to change the oil every 7,500 miles versus every 3,000 to 5,000 miles with conventional or conventional hybrid oil.
Keeping an eye on your car’s oil and changing it regularly is an important part of taking care of your Nissan—and so is protecting it with good
