What is the oil type for a 2011 Kia Forte?

My brother just went to college and left me his 2011 Kia Forte. I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos and I’m going to try doing an oil change myself. What’s its oil type?

’s oil type is SAE 5W-20. You’ll need 4.1 quarts to complete a full oil change.
Be careful when conducting an oil change yourself. You must have the correct tools and old oil must be disposed of properly. It’s also recommended to use synthetic oil over conventional oil when performing an oil change because:
  • Synthetic is cleaner since it doesn’t break down and form deposits on the engine.
  • It *flows swifter to vital parts of the engine.
  • It’s more stable at high and low temperatures and has greater viscosity.
Synthetic oil also lasts longer, so you’ll have more time in between oil changes.
Since you just got a new car, you’re going to need a new

policy.
