Opening a car hood can be deceptively tricky since the release levers vary somewhat from vehicle to vehicle.
To lift your
Cadillac DeVille
hood, you’ll first need to find the hood release lever inside your vehicle’s cabin. It’s located on the lower left side of the instrument panel or to the left of your steering wheel near the driver side door.Pull up on the Cadillac DeVille’s hood release lever. Then, go to the front of your vehicle and move the second hood release lever. Depending on what kind of vehicles you’ve been accustomed to, its location can be somewhat unexpected—you’ll find it under the bottom the center portion of your grille.
