What is the oil type for a 2011 Infiniti G37?

I’ve been getting my 2011 Infiniti G37 serviced for years, but this is the year that I start doing things myself! I’m going to change its oil. What type of oil do I need?

’s oil type is SAE 5W-30. You’ll need 5 quarts to complete a full oil change.
It’s recommended that you use synthetic oil when performing an oil change on your Infiniti G37. Synthetic oil is recommended over conventional oil because:
  • It’s cleaner because it doesn’t break down and form deposits on the engine.
  • It flows easier and quicker to vital engine parts.
  • It’s more stable and has greater viscosity at extreme temperatures.
