What is the Chevrolet Bolt Battery Degradation Like?

I’m considering purchasing a Chevrolet Bolt, but I’m concerned about how long its battery will last. Do you know what the Chevrolet Bolt battery degradation is like?

The
Chevrolet Bolt
about 200,000 to 300,000 miles, or about six to 10 years before it begins to experience battery degradation.
However, Chevrolet provides an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty covering any battery issues until both landmarks pass. This warranty coverage is standard across most EV vehicles on the market today.
Used Bolts range about 133 and 325 miles when the battery is fully charged. The mileage range is so wide because external driving conditions can greatly impact how hard your Bolt’s battery needs to work to get you to your destination. Extreme temperatures or hilly roads can reduce your Bolt’s mileage range and impact battery life.
Battery degradation in EV vehicles is inevitable, but if you live in an area that experiences temperatures hovering around 70-80 F with relatively flat terrain, your Bolt’s battery is more likely to last for 10 years before it starts to degrade. You’ll know your battery is degrading when its mileage range becomes shorter than usual and you have to charge your Bolt more often. You may also experience less efficient motor performance and sluggish acceleration.
