What is the best additive to remove water from a gas tank?

My car has been having trouble starting, and it sputters whenever I try to turn it on. I am wondering if the humidity and the cold mornings here are somehow allowing water into the gas tank. What is the best additive to remove water from a gas tank?

Great question! You can use an additive to remove water from a gas tank, such as BG Ethanol or ISO-Heet.
ISO-Heet is used in 2-cycle engines (gas or diesel), most commonly in motorcycles, boats, and lawnmowers. Another similar product is BG Ethanol Fuel System Drier.
These products work by absorbing moisture and suspending it until the engine can burn it off. The engine must be able to start without fuel icing and freezing, and these additives can help accomplish this goal by fighting condensation.
If neither of these products solves the sputtering, you may need to completely empty the gas tank, clean it, and then refill it. The fuel may have been contaminated.
