What is the 2010 Honda Civic oil type?

I never change my own oil, but the girl I just started dating can do it in a heartbeat. She offered to change the oil on my 2010 Civic. What kind of oil do I need to get?

That’s awesome—it’s always great to have someone around to help out with car maintenance!
A 2010
Honda Civic’s
oil type is 5W-20 motor oil. You’ll need 3.5 to 4 quarts to fill your tank, so a standard 5-quart container should be plenty.
Plus, then you can keep the container in your car to fill up your oil if you’re ever running low between changes.
