I’ve read that BMW has some of the safest cars on the road due to advanced safety features. One of the things that I keep seeing is BMW blind spot detection, but I’m not sure what it is. What is blind spot detection on a BMW?

When you change lanes, the system springs into action, providing visual cues that alert you of obstacles in your blind spot. Remember that this system shouldn’t replace checking your blind spots or looking over your shoulder. But it can reduce the chance of a collision when you’re changing lanes on a highway.
