What does the BMW warranty not cover?
We love our old BMW but we’re thinking of getting a new X1. My wife says BMW has updated their warranty program since we last bought new. So what does the new BMW warranty not cover?

BMW did update their warranty program in 2017—more on that in a sec. But first, here’s what the BMW warranty does not cover:
- Brake pads
- Rotors or discs
- Brake shoes and drums
- Spark plugs
- Wiper blades
- Blade assemblies and beams
- Filters
Under today’s plan, the powertrain warranty is folded into the factory warranty in what the company calls a comprehensive warranty. It still provides industry-leading coverage, but like many other car warranties, it will not pay for the replacement of parts with normal wear on your new
