What does no zone mean in driving?

I’m a new driver and I keep seeing and hearing the term no zone. I’m not sure what it means or what to do in those situations. What is the meaning of the no zone?

That’s a great question, and understanding what every term and sign means is important for safety reasons.
A no zone in driving is an area you should avoid, such as large trucks’ blindspots. Despite truck drivers sitting higher than regular drivers, they can’t see everything. Trucks’ blindspots can extend 20 feet in front of their truck, as well as on each side.
The four primary no zones on a truck include:
  • Directly in front
  • Directly in back
  • Driver’s side next to the side mirror
  • Passenger’s side next to the side mirror
You always need to be extra cautious when sharing the road with a truck. While driving safety is top of mind, it’s also important to make sure you have great
