Are oil changes covered under a Ford warranty?

I bought a new Ford a couple of months ago, and it’s about due for an oil change. Is this covered under my warranty, or will I have to pay for it?

Oil changes are not covered under a Ford warranty.
Ford’s basic factory warranties do not cover routine maintenance, like oil changes. However, if you purchased a Ford Protect Premium Maintenance Plan, your regularly scheduled engine oil and filter changes will be covered, along with many other wear-and-tear items that require periodic attention.
Keeping up with your regularly scheduled maintenance is a great way to ensure you don’t get blindsided by unexpected expenses. But remember, only a solid car insurance policy can protect you from the unplanned expenses associated with car accidents and other types of vehicle damage.
