What can cause 2017 Kia Soul EV battery degradation?
I have a 2017 Kia Soul EV and it seems like my battery’s range has been getting worse in recent months. I know it’s definitely used but I don’t know that I’d call it *old* yet, so what could be causing the battery degradation?

battery degradation, including exposure to extreme temperatures—hot or cold—for a prolonged period of time, or always keeping your battery fully charged or close to dead. To extend the life of your 2017 Soul EV battery,

suggests storing your vehicle in covered areas whenever possible and maintaining a charge between 20% and 80% most of the time.When the battery has a full charge, it’s generating a lot of heat which can wear the battery out faster. Similarly, when it’s near empty, it can get overly drained.
