Is there a special mechanic for electrical problems in a car?

I think my car may be having an electrical problem (the headlights are dim and the battery light is on). Can I take it to a regular mechanic or do I need to find a special mechanic for electrical problems?

First off, good on you for being able to
recognize the signs of an electrical problem
! It does seem like that’s what is happening to your car.
Thankfully, you won’t need to go to a specialized mechanic for electrical issues. Any
experienced technician
should be able to run a diagnostic test to determine the cause or malfuction in your car’s system and perform the needed repair.
It’s important to get an electrical problem in your car diagnosed and taken care of by a professional as soon as possible, but those repair costs can start to add up. If you’re looking for ways to save, check out the
