Is the alternator covered under the Kia Limited Basic Warranty?
I have a 2020 Kia and I’ve noticed signs of alternator issues. If it’s damaged, will it be covered under my warranty?

Most alternators last between 7 and 10 years before they need to be replaced—but in the event of a damaged or dysfunctional one, it may need to be replaced sooner. Since it’s not a wear-and-tear item, the alternator should be covered under the Kia Limited Basic Warranty until your coverage period ends.
