Is mold covered by home insurance?
I recently discovered some mold in my bathroom and I think it’s affecting my health. I want to make sure it’s properly removed, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to afford it. Is mold covered by home insurance?

Oh no! I’m sorry that you’re experiencing health problems from the mold. Mold isn’t usually covered by home insurance. However, you may receive a payout if you can prove the damage stems from a
covered peril
