Is Kia’s extended warranty transferable?

Yes—all three of Kia’s extended warranty options are transferable to a second owner.
Kia
offers three extended warranty options: Platinum, Gold, and Powertrain. They all last 150,000 miles—the only difference is exactly what Kia components and accessories they cover.The Platinum policy covers almost all of Kia’s components and accessories. The Gold policy covers the vehicle’s powertrain, steering, cooling, brakes, front/rear suspension, air conditioning and natural gas components. Finally, the Powertrain policy covers mechanical breakdowns related to the engine, drive axle, transaxle, transfer case and transmission.
All three plans are administered by a third-party warranty provider called Fidelity Warranty Services. If a claim is necessary, you can take your vehicle to a Kia dealership, any licensed repair facility, or one of the 6,000 authorized service centers across the U.S. and Canada.
