Is I-94 a toll road in Indiana?
I’m planning a trip from my home in Michigan City over to Chicago and my planned route takes me on I-94. I’ve never had to drive this way, so I’m not exactly sure what to expect. Does I-94 in Indiana have a toll?

The stretch of I-94 in Indiana is not a toll road, so you don’t have to worry about any added costs. However, since you’re headed to Chicago, I-94 will eventually hit I-90—also known as the Indiana Toll Road.
This stretch of I-90 is the fastest route into Chicago from your starting point, and it will only cost you about $3.50. You can certainly circumnavigate the toll by taking side roads and city streets, but expect the trip may take far longer.
