Is Genesis an Electric Car Company?
I’ve seen a few Genesis cars on the road recently and they looked really cool but I don’t know much about the brand. Is Genesis an electric car manufacturer or part of another brand?

It’s awesome that you love cars! Genesis Motors, is a fairly new luxury brand of the Hyundai Motor Group and while none of their current cars are electric, they have big plans for an all-electric future.
Founded in South Korea only seven year ago, in 2015, Genesis is making quite a name for itself among luxury car brands.
In 2022, Genesis plans to release the electric GV70 which is an electrified update of their original gas-powered SUV. It is one of the company’s first-ever all-electric luxury SUVs. While the company is not fully known as an electric car company like Tesla, Genesis knows electric vehicles are the way of the future.
In the company’s efforts to make sure that consumers can drive in luxury without hurting the environment they are continuing to release new electric vehicles in sedan and SUV styles. Currently releasing electric versions of its older models like the electrified G80 sedan, Genesis plans on going all-electric in 2025.
