How bright is a car headlight in lumens?

It seems like headlights are so bright these days, it's almost blinding. I'm buying a new bulb for my car and I'm not sure if I want really bright lights. Can you tell me how bright the average headlights actually are?

Most new headlights are LED lights, which is probably part of the reason that they seem so bright. Determining how bright car headlights are in lumens can be a little complicated, though.
To answer this question quickly,
the average headlight
emits between 2,000 to 4,000 lumens. However, this number will depend on a few different factors.
The brightness will depend on the number of LEDs in the light itself. Some bulbs will be rated incredibly high at 10,000 or more, but you should take this claim with a grain of salt.
Another factor to consider is the wattage, where bulbs with higher wattage will emit more lumens.
While you’re shopping for new headlights, consider shopping for new insurance, too! Many people pay too much for their auto insurance policy, but the
