Is a throttle body covered under a powertrain warranty from Ford?

I was driving my Ford the other day when it started to run a bit weird. I took it to the mechanic and he said that the throttle body was broken. He didn’t fix it because he said it might be covered under warranty, so I want to make sure. Will Ford repair a throttle body if I’m under warranty?

Sorry to hear about your ride! Fortunately, your throttle body should be covered under the 3-year, 36,000-mile basic, bumper-to-bumper warranty. It doesn’t fall under the 5-year, 60,000-mile warranty, but hopefully, you have less than 3 years and 36,000 miles under your belt.
If the throttle body is no longer under warranty, you’re going to have to pay out of pocket. So if you want to offset some of the repair costs,
