Is a clutch covered under the Toyota warranty?

I’ve had my new Toyota for a few months now, and I really love it. I’ve noticed it seems to be shifting kind of roughly all of a sudden, though. Is my clutch covered under Toyota’s warranty?

We’re glad to hear you’re loving your new Toyota, and we’re sure you’ll be glad to hear that your clutch should be covered under the car’s 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty. This warranty covers manufacturer defects and other issues that may cause a clutch to fail for reasons other than wear and tear.
Keep in mind that if your clutch has begun to shift irregularly because of modifications you’ve made or damage you may have caused, you’ll be responsible for paying for the repairs yourself.
If you think you might be stuck with an unexpected repair bill, or you just want to make sure you’ve always got some extra cash in your pocket, head over to the
