Since every car is a little different, it can get confusing to learn the specifics—like how to open your new
Volvo XC60’s
hood. Thankfully, it’s not hard.
All you have to do is:
  • Locate the** hood release lever**, which can be found on the lower left-hand side beneath your dashboard
  • The lever will have an icon of a car with its hood open, so you’ll know it’s the right one!
  • Pull the hood release lever
  • Exit your vehicle and head to the front of the car
  • Locate the safety handle between your Volvo’s grill and the hood opening
  • Push the safety handle up and to the side to release the hood and push it open
And voila! You’ve successfully opened your Volvo XC60’s hood. All that’s left to do is prop it open and get to work!
