How to jumpstart a diesel truck?
I just bought a diesel truck and want to make sure I know what to do if the battery dies. What do I need to know to jumpstart it?

Knowing how to jump your truck is smart thinking! To jump a diesel truck with two batteries, you should follow these steps:
- Open the hood of both vehicles
- Position the donor vehicle near the truck with the dead battery
- Turn off all the electronics in both vehicles
- Confirm that the donor batteries are not low
- Attach the positive terminals
- Connect the negative terminals
- Start the donor car
- Startthe truck
This should get your truck running again!
It’s also a good idea to make sure that you keep these items in your trunk in case your battery dies:
- Jumper leads
- Gloves
- Clamps
- Wire brush
