How to add a driver in your car insurance?
My child is turning 16 and I want to add him onto my car insurance policy. How do I add another driver?

Insurance providers make the process of adding a driver to your
car insurance
policy quick and easy. You have a few options.You could just call your provider and ask an agent how to begin the process. They will guide you through submitting the required information and will send you a confirmation email when everything is done.
You could also access your account online or via the provider’s mobile app and select the option to add an additional driver to your policy. Approval and cost to add a new driver depend on a variety of factors, such as the additional driver’s:
- Driving history
- Vehicle type
- Age
You will also need the following information from the new driver:
- Name as it appears on a license
- Date of birth
- License or plate number
- Date of license certification
- Proof of grades or driver certification (to qualify for certain discounts)
If he has good grades, make sure to apply for a good student discount to find some savings.
