How much does it cost to repair a side mirror?

I was backing out of my garage the other day and I smashed the side mirror into the garage door frame. It knocked the mirror completely off, so now I'm unable to get to work. I don't have a lot of money right now, but I definitely need my car. How much will it cost to repair the side mirror?

“I’m so sorry that happened! Luckily, repairing a mirror is about low-to-mid range in terms of price: depending on whether there are electronics or other features in your side mirror, you should expect to pay $100 to $500 to repair it.
If you’re still worried about the price, though, check with your car insurance to see if your
collision coverage
will cover the price of replacement, especially if your deductible is less than the price of the repair.
If you don’t have collision coverage, now might be a good time to add it to your policy. A quick and easy way to do this is with the
Jerry app
—we’ll get you customized quotes from different top-of-the-line providers so that all you have to do is choose the plan that works best for you. And if you do decide to switch to a new policy or provider, we’ll help with the phone calls and paperwork!
Best of luck with the repairs!”
