How much does it cost to change a Tesla battery?

I powered on my Tesla and just saw that my 12V battery is low and needs to be serviced soon. How much will it cost to replace my Tesla’s battery?

While a
Tesla
is an electric vehicle, it still needs a 12-volt battery to power its lights, doors, windows, and touchscreen. Although the battery lasts a few years, they eventually have to be changed.
On average, you can expect to spend between $0 to $300 to change a Tesla battery depending on your car’s model and whether it is still under warranty.
If your Tesla is still under warranty, the replacement of your 12V battery should be covered. But if your vehicle’s warranty has expired, you can expect to pay between $100 to $300 for parts and labor.
Although
Tesla
has several guides for DIY maintenance, you should make an appointment with a service center or authorized Tesla mobile technician for a battery change. Speaking with a technician is also the best way to determine the actual cost.
