How many Saturn Skys were made?

I have a Saturn Sky that I’ve been keeping pretty much stored away. I heard it was kind of a collectors’ item since so few were made. How many Saturn Skys were made?

Just 35,000 Saturn Skys were made for the 2007 through 2010 model years. The single-generation two-seat roadster is on many car enthusiasts’ radar as a future classic, so you’d do well to hang onto yours.
That’s especially true if you have a
Sky Redline
trim. Only 15,000 of these were manufactured.
The standard
Saturn Sky
is powered by a less-than-thrilling 177-horsepower, naturally aspirated inline-four-cylinder engine. Redline versions benefited from a more powerful 260-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbo-four engine. And from December 2008 onward, buyers had the option to add a turbo upgrade kit that piled 30 horses onto the Sky’s stable and pushed torque from 260 lb-ft up to 340.
In addition to the stronger engine, the Redline Sky is also equipped with a stiffer suspension and torque-sensing limited-slip differential to improve handling. It also adopted these premium upgrades from its
Pontiac Solstice
cousin:
  • 18-inch wheels
  • Dual exhaust tips
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel w/ audio controls
  • Bespoke seat and floor mat embroidery
  • Stainless steel pedals
  • Digital boost gauge
