The base model gets 187 hp, which isn’t too shabby for this type of compact SUV. But if you need more power, there is an optional turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 256 hp. However, this is only available on the higher trim levels.
All rumors point to the future development of a V6 Mazda CX-5. This car might get a new name and we’re not totally sure when it will be available, but keep a lookout.
