How many cars are in Ohio?

When I was growing up, Ohio had tons of manufacturing plants owned by Ford and GM. Since then, some of the plants have closed, but I know that the state still has plenty of cars. How many automobiles are there in Ohio?

was once the archetype of manufacturing in the United States. But due to rising costs and outsourcing, many of the plants closed.
The U.S. Census Bureau reported that there were just under 10.6 million cars in Ohio in 2020. That’s 91 cars for every 100 residents and the sixth-most cars of any state.
