How many 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bees were made?

I love the 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee. How many were actually manufactured?

Great question! Dodge built just 5,054 Charger Super Bees in 1971, which was the only year of the Super Bee’s four-year history to be built as a trim level of the
Dodge Charger
. Later, the Super Bee would be considered a standalone vehicle. 1971 was the first and only year that a small block engine (340 4-bbl) became available in the Super Bee.
Even more rare is the ‘71 Charger Super Bee equipped with a Hemi engine; only 22 of these special vehicles were ever made.
Despite their rarity, these
classic cars
are relatively inexpensive today (at least, by collectible standards). The lowest recorded sale price was $30,000 for a 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee 383 on April 26, 2021. The average price of a ‘71 Dodge Super Bee is $66,645.
