I was in an accident yesterday, and I had a massage reserved for today. My lower back is also in pain, but I know you shouldn’t get a massage too soon after an accident. How long should I wait to get a massage after a car accident?

Accidents can be scary, and it can take a few weeks for you to realize the full extent of the damage. To avoid further damaging your back, you should wait at least 72 hours after an accident to get your massage.
You should also see a doctor as soon as possible to determine the extent of your injuries. Since massages can cause permanent damage to your body after an accident, it’s best to wait for your doctor to give you the go-ahead.
