How far does car insurance tow your car?

How far will a towing and labor coverage policy tow your car? I'm shopping around for car insurance and I want to add towing and labor coverage to my policy.

“The distance that towing and labor coverage will tow your car varies by car insurance company.
Generally speaking, you can reasonably expect anywhere from 5 miles to 50 miles of free towing. After that, you’ll have to pay for the towing costs out of pocket.”
