How far can a Toyota Camry go on empty?

I’m a bit of a scatterbrain when it comes to filling my car with gas. Knowing myself well enough, I’m going to try to fill up the tank more often. But since I just bought a new Camry, I want to know how many miles I have. How far can the Toyota Camry go when the needle points to empty?

On average, the Toyota Camry offers about 42 miles once it hits empty on the gauge or the gas light comes on. This equates to about 1.6 gallons of gas left in the tank. If you pay attention to the gas light, this should be more than enough gas to get you to the filling station. Just don’t push it too much.
If you’re frequently running out of gas, adding
towing and labor coverage
to your car insurance policy is a smart move. It functions just like roadside assistance and can get you some gas if you’re stranded somewhere.
